About
My background sits between software, design, music, business, and hands-on project execution.
I studied Interdisciplinary Computing Arts & Media (Music) at UC San Diego, with minors in Computer Science and Business (Marketing). By day I’ve led projects at Uptown General Engineering, a family-owned construction firm in Los Angeles. That blend of creativity, systems thinking, and accountability shapes how I design and engineer apps.
I founded Mekina Software to make creative tools and apps that I wished existed. ABSeq is my first release: a fast, reliable way to A/B reference audio tracks anywhere. On the fitness side, I’m building Challengrs, a photo-verified accountability app that gamifies consistent effort.
Whether I’m mapping flows, prototyping UI, or shipping Swift/SwiftUI code, I care about outcomes: clear value, clean interfaces, and measurable impact. I believe that good ideas, solid execution, and a bit of fun come together to make the best user experiences.
Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, subscriptions, persistence, networking, analytics, and the platform work needed to ship.
Product flows, prototypes, interaction polish, hierarchy, and interfaces that make complex behavior feel simple.
Scope decisions, launch readiness, feedback loops, and the practical accountability that keeps projects moving.
Music, video, 3D, and audio tools inform how I think about feedback, timing, and expressive software.
